Altitude Technology IoT Bit GSM HAT (Hardware Attached on Top) for the Raspberry Pi is an add-on board offering GSM Mobile Data, GPS positioning information, and Bluetooth® connectivity.

The IoT Bit GSM HAT connects to the Raspberry Pi board using a 40-pin GPIO header and features an autoconfiguration system that allows automatic GPIO setup and driver setup. the IoT Bit GSM HAT easily gives your single-board computer powerful connectivity wherever you are. The IoT Bit can integrate easily with the software on your operating system giving you access to general internet data through the mobile network. Using the Altitude Application Programming Internace (API), the IoT Bit GSM HAT gives you the ability to send SMS (text) messages, and communicate over Bluetooth. It also gives easy access to the onboard GPS for location data.
