Laird Sterling-LWB Wi-Fi & Bluetooth Smart Ready Modules provide flexibility for wireless designs. The modules offer more options, certifications and a variety of antennas. Based on the Broadcom 4343W chipset, the modules support IEEE 802.11b/g/n, BT 2.1+EDR, and BLE 4.1 wireless connectivity. Three configurations are available for specific applications. Typical applications include security, building automation, IoT, M2M connectivity and smart gateways.

Now available are the Sterling LWB5 series which can operate in dual frequency bands, 2.4GHz and 5GHz. The LWB5 offer significant value with a range of options, certifications, and antennas. This allows for greater flexibility for challenging design requirements. The module is based on the Cypress CYW43353 chipset and is one of the first commercially available solutions that offers IEEE 802.11ac capabilities for ultrahigh data rate 5GHz Wi-Fi connectivity. The LWB5 also features classic Bluetooth and BLE connectivity. The module comes in three configurations with an industrial temperature rating (-40¡ã to +85¡ãC).
