Vishay's phase control thyristor lowers costs and saves space in medium-power switching applications

Image of Vishay Semiconductor Diodes VS-50TPS12L-M3 Phase Control Thyristor Vishay introduces a new 50 A, 1200 V phase control thyristor in the new long leads TO-247 package. The thyristor provides a new medium-power option in the 3-lead through-hole package for power switching applications. Glass passivation technology provides reliable operation to a junction temperature of +150°C. Long leads provide flexibility in PCB mounting. High dv/dt provides increased EMI immunity.
