Ethertronics introduces their 1002289 high-performance LTE cellular antenna

The 1002289 FPC antenna is designed with Ethertronics¡¯ patented IMD™ technology to address all cellular connectivity needs requiring a high-performance, embedded, antenna solution. The linear polarization of the 1002289 provides a strong omnidirectional signal, making it well suited for uncontrolled environments. This antenna solution provides robust connectivity over the eight major cellular frequency bands and helps to meet carrier requirements. The octa-band antenna achieves more than 74% efficiency in lower frequency bands with peak efficiency above 63% in higher frequency bands, while maintaining overall VSWR under 2.5:1.

By combining strong band coverage and easy integration, the 1002289 is an ideal choice for devices needing LTE MIMO based antenna solutions. The 1002289¡¯s small form-factor, FPC design enables it to be easily integrated into a wide range of products, including devices where space is of prime importance. This FPC design uses a robust 3M adhesive tape underneath, further easing its integration on various housings, and a U.FL compatible cable assembly enabling it to fit in most devices.
